Massage Therapist, Wendy Linden, will be at the show on Saturday to give massages to horses & people.  You will be able to purchase gift certificates for your favorite horse or human for a Christmas present!

Toys For Tots
Christmas Drive

In partnership with Trails End Arena, we will be holding a toy drive at Poormans Schooling Show December 5th & 6th.  Bring in your new toy & your stall will be half price for the day or the haul in fee will be waived!  If you bring two toys your stall is half price for the weekend!  If you don't have time to shop, $10 of every full price stall & 100% of the haul in fees collected will go for toys!  Poormans staff will shop for the toys on your behalf!

100% of the office fee collected will go for toys!

This clinic will be offered over 2 days!  Showmanship, Western Pleasure & Horsemanship will be covered.  $50 per session!  Discount to WAHSET & 4H Members!  Watch for more information!

Washington State Horsemen held their annual convention in Spokane, WA on November 13 thru 15.  Here are a few of the highlights;

2010 Youth memberships are reduced to $10

There is now a flat fee for year end awards.  For just $200 you (one horse/one rider) can sign up for every year end award you are eligible for.

Riders that have "pointed out" of their Novice category can now move up to the Rookie program, which include english pleasure & equitation, western pleasure & equitation and showmanship.

YEAR END TOP 5 AWARD for the highest scoring horse & rider combo.  Highest scoring horse/rider combo gets the recognition painted on their trailer. The top 5 riders all win jackets.

REMEMBER!  If you show at breed shows, you can earn year end awards thru WSH's A System program!  Join WSH & sign up in your category.  Track your results & send them to the WSH points keeper.  Your placings at your A System show can earn you points in the Washington State Horsemen's program.  For more information contact Dawn Spencer, Horse Show Division Director at 509-250-0605 or via email.
